I design with intention—every detail matters, whether in a building, a robot, or a photograph. Understanding how each element impacts the user experience is crucial. When practical goals, such as sustainability, comfort, and resilience, guide design, aesthetics naturally follow.

In the College of Design, I have learned the power of iteration. Ideas become refined with each pass through the design process. Iteration washes out flaws and inspires new directions. Designs can always be improved, so we must refine them through an iterative process as much as possible within the time allowed.
